From what I understand, the East Bay is seen as the area to invest in right now, and it's starting to push a lot of longtime residents out, much like SF has already done.

Probably why the surrounding areas are so hot on the list that was linked.

$800K won't do much in this area, it's crazy. Maybe a small townhouse but forget about a regular house!
