A conviction is the official recognition of the initial wrong doing not an additional offense.

 

What you are describing is referred to as double jeopardy which is punishing a person twice for the same offense which is would be a violation of the labor contract.

 

The Director of Player Engagement wouldn't publicly discuss any interaction between the two. The fact that you have heard nothing is exactly what you are supposed to hear regardless of the amount of interaction.
