No young GM is going to attach his career to a boom or bust Quarterback.  And that's what Manziel is basically.  Boom or Bust.  And if Manziel busts, Caldwell will be gone very quickly. Why attach yourself to a wagon that looks like it's going to sink?  The fact is Manziel has skills that don't always transition well into the NFL.  He has a maturity problem.  Not to mention he's slightly on the short side.  And if Caldwell does draft him, and Manziel does bust, then Caldwell should be shown the door as soon as possible.
