Tom Brady suspension to be upheld
|
Quote:Actually the investigators were asking for specific text/emails with the equipment/ball guys and other people within the Pats organization. http://deadspin.com/the-full-story-of-to...1722190784 I'm assuming this is the whole story. According to Wells, they wanted Brady to do specific pretty generic searches, and they wanted texts or whatever from specific people. Tom Brady was apparently advised to not give up that information and eventually destroyed the phone (which is not as out of the ordinary than people make it to be). yada yada ya. Eventually Brady was able to get his phone records and was able to prove that the investigators pretty much already had everything they were asking for in the first place from the other phones (Ballboy or whoever's). I don't care if Brady secretly deflated every football he ever thew, I just think the NFL has to prove someone did what they are punishing them for (and how about actually try to prevent it if it's so important). Say someone in the future actually is innocent of something. This is the standard? If an innocent person wants to keep personal information private he is guilty? And what about the wells report? "More likely than not" AKA "I really don't know"? This is the NFL standard? Good thing they can't issue the death penalty. |
