In Fairness to Manziel

I have no doubt that Manziel will get a chance to start for the Browns this season as long as he doesn't do anything stupid off the field.
I would be surprised though if he ever became anything more then an average journeyman QB in the NFL, if even that. Sure, he might make a few highlight plays here and there, but I am just not convinced that he can ever become an above average or better NFL QB. He is going to have to prove me wrong. btw, I wouldn't really expect Joe Thomas to say anything different, especially heading into a new NFL season.
