It's not as if he is entirely new at the position.

 

Granted, LT at the college level isn't the same as LT at the NFL level, but it isn't as if he knew NOTHING about the position when he reached the NFL.
Everyone in the NFL played college ball and most played the same position that they did in the NFL.

 

This isn't some special qualifier for Joeckel.
