That said, he does deserve a chance to play in games this season before words like garbage are thrown around.
Top ten picks typically don't have their position coaches miss time battling cancer.

 

Yes I agree completely that Joeckel is naturally expected as a top 3 pick to perform better.  I agree completely he is under performing.

 

But to suggest coaching absolutely has nothing to do with player development misses the point.

 

Why do teams hire coaches at all?

 

Why spend the additional millions on coordinators, position coaches, etc?

 

Why spend the countless practice and training camp hours going into positional drills?
 

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!
