Quote: Pasadena was nice. I was surprised with the quaint atmosphere in the area even though it's only a few miles from DTLA. Pretty cool that you can drive 20 minutes and be in the middle of the forest. Son -> Engineering & Math -- he got a 2200 on his SAT (including 780 out of 800 on the math portion). He'll stay on the east coast as he wants GaTech --- I want in state tuition (UF). Personally,I loved UCLA but he liked Cal Berkeley. CalTech is intriguing --- take home tests !! I guess when you have a student body of people that scored perfect SATs it's not really about having them sit in a class and taking an exam. My daughter liked Pepperdine (which is way out of our financial limitations) -- HA !! |
