Back from Rams-Cowboys joint practice in Oxnard,CA

#16

Quote:Unfortunately, I was not at Tuesdays practice. But I can tell you that there was a lot of jawing back and forth on Monday.

The Rams seemed to be very pumped up with the fan turn out. In fact TJ McDonald as well as Trumaine Johnson were pretty [BAD WORD REMOVED] Dez Bryant wasn't practicing on Monday. They actually told a group of us fans this. They sounded like they thought he was being soft.

I was on the Rams side of the fields most of the day, and reports swirled that even though Dez wasn't practicing, he was doing a lot of instigating form the side line. There was 1 minor scuffle during the day.

Stand outs:

-Tavon Austin is VERY VERY fast. Unstoppable in one on one drills. Caught a 50 yard bomb from Foles in 11 on 11 as well. Scandrick didn't practice. I am thinking Austin is primed for a big year.

-There is no way Case Keenum is 6'1". I swear hes like 5'10".

-The Cowboys were trying a pass rush grouping of Lawrence, Mincey, Hardy, Gregory. That could be pretty nasty.

-Gurley is a very big dude.

If I had to pick 1 team to move, I would pick the Rams. They were  in LA about 50 years before they moved to St Louis.

Jerome Bettis, Eric Dickerson, Kevin Greene, and the Fearsome Foursome are all a great part of NFL history.

I can see the Raiders moving back. That would be great news to all the LA gangbangers lol.

Nobody wants the Chargers lol.

  Thanks for your input!

The season ending injury to CB E.J. Gaines makes it that much more important for Trumaine Johnson to have a good season if the Rams are finally going to have a break through season.

In drills between the two teams,  how did the Rams Offensive Line hold up against the Cowboys Defensive Line?    The Rams Offensive Line is probably their greatest question mark.

Regarding the Los Angeles NFL team situation,  one thing that caught my attention is both the Chargers and Raiders are willing to change conferences if necessary.    If the Carson stadium becomes a reality with those two teams playing in Carson,   my guess is the Chargers will be the team that will move to the NFC.   I don't think the NFL will be comfortable with the Raiders annual rivalry with the Chiefs and Broncos ending.
