"We're further along than we anticipated" Bradley on offense

Quote:Hey look to be completely honest it does matter to me. I get that it doesn't to you. But rarely do you rely solely on starters to make a difference. Take hurns for example. It's not a fluke that he drops passes left and right. Yes it matters if our depth are getting positive reps and opprotunities to score because everyone is one play away. But go ahead and keep attacking my views because they don't align with yours. I get the point you are trying to make but how likely is that the whole first team offense will get injuried and we are gonna rely on the entire second team offense. Even if JT goes out for the year, the oline is still in place with and wideouts. I think that is the idea everyone is conveying to you as far as realizing "what you are seeing". Its not Blake throwing to a back up or two in the second half, it's the entire second and third team, most of whom won't even be on a roster come September 1. So far the first team offense is producing and that is the main focus. The end of the game stats are skewed because the guys who are playing really won't have a starting role come the regular season. Maybe a hand full of them will get a few snaps here or a start there but that's it. Our first team beat their first team. |
