In fairness, though, did you see the line he was playing behind last year? How Mike Mallory kept his job I will never understand.

 

There's some things that weren't great last season in ST, I agree. And how Mallory kept his job, I will never know. But...what really changed this season? Supposedly our OL is better which would help in blocking, but watch the kicks that were blocked. They weren't coming up the middle. It was off the edge whether a guy got just flat out beat or missed an assignment, only the coaches know which one.

 

Now go watch Josh's kick against the Giants and look at its trajectory (looked a bit low to me). Then look at that free rusher on the right (josh's right side) that was just a step too slow to get there.

 

IMO, that's the exact same formula that we saw last season.
