Some interesting notes on Myers...


 

His career is very similar to Scobee's. Scobee was a former soccer player who began kicking his senior year of high school. Myers is a former soccer player who began kicking his junior year of high school.


 

While his 63 percent rate out of college is a tad lower than Scobee's 71 percent out of college, Myers is not exactly fresh out of college. His senior year was back in 2012, so he's had considerable time to develop since.


 

In 2014 he played in the Arena League for the San Jose Sabercats, and might still be in the Arena League having already signed a contract with the Arizona Rattlers had the Jaguars not signed him. I tried to find some stats for him, but was only able to verify that he played for the Sabercats. Nich Pertuit was the Sabercats' primary kicker in 2014.


 

He caught scout's eyes by nailing deep FGs in this past year's combine. He also has several impressive Youtube videos.
