Coaches and GM's don't always hit on their decisions so obviously they play to the player's strengths. What else can they do? Your spiel about Gerhart is all fine and dandy but when an undrafted guy like Zach Zenner comes into the game tonight just dragging guys into the endzone and shows the ability to run outside the tackles as well, you should look a bit intrigued when you're paying a guy 10.5 million dollars on a 3 year deal for a two yard average to essentially play the same role.
