Luke was bad last year as well, and needed a major improvement in his play this year. So far in this preseason, he has shown no improvement in his weaknesses (power, technique, pass pro... he's always been a decent run blocker). Bortles is getting protected? Like I said, in one total game, he had a sack from the blind side that resulted in a fumble, and in this game his own tackle was bull rushed into his knees. That can't be happening at this alarming frequency. Luckily for us, Bortles has good pocket presence and can actually avoid a rush. He's making the offensive line look better than they really are.
