Early last year, no, late last year, some. So far this year I totally disagree.


 

And clearly it's not our money and not a immense hit on the team's budget but fans will wonder if it was money well spent or not, as they should. Right now the Gerhart experience seems to have been a gamble that hasn't paid off so far but we will see. I believe in the guy, myself. I do believe he played through a nagging injury last season so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

 

Between the injury and Fisch, it was a bit of a waste last year, but he is pretty much paid for (500K dead money if cut, I think) so his contract is fine. The money was well spent, the Fisch experiment was not good. None of that is on Gerhart. 


 

 

Just playing devil's advocate. I think Yeldon is our future and there are bigger problems to worry about than our RB situation. *coughLTcough*

 

While Yeldon is our future, based on what little I have seen of him, I hope the future comes slowly. I think he will be really good, but also think due to our other backs we have the luxury of not rushing him in (sorry about that) before his finger or feel for game speed is ready. Gerhart (and to a larger extent Shoelace) help with that.
