Jags 6-10 at best this year
|
Quote:I watched the Panthers' game against the Dolphins, and the starters seemed to struggle a lot. I know it's preseason, so you can't really read too much into it, but they should have been down 21-0 in the first quarter. It was 14-0 Miami when the Dolphins' running back scored an apparent TD to put the Phins up 21-0, but replay showed he fumbled it through the end zone for a touchback. I didn't watch much more of that game, and was amazed when the Panthers pulled it out. I assume the backups won that game. Cam Newton as 4-10 for 42 yards. It also looked like the Panthers have a major hole at WR.The Panthers starters didn't play much of that game at all. 3 of our starting DLine were out. Our 2nd best corner was out. Luke and TD barely played. C'mon man, that's your analysis? Did you watch our D against the Pats? Regardless, both are preseason games and should be taken with a grain f salt. My point is....it's easy to say the Panthers suck because we had a losing record. But if you look at the turning point for the team last year (against the Saints - I think it was week 11) then you'll see who you're really facing. Not to mention Cam is healthy this year. I'm not knocking you for thinking its a winnable game - I'm not underestimating the Jags. It's the comments about how the "Panthers suck" that I think are funny. |
