My big thing is the level of expectation everyone has for this guy. There are improvements he is making. If you watch every game there is some contentback getting burned on a play that didn't come his way or some line backer getting pancaked *cough Merriman*. I think this scrutiny is starting to get out of hand. He is entering his third year and is a starting caliber player with still more improvement to make. That is a good starting point in the third year of a LT.


I understand analyzing the performance of a player but sometime it seems like some people take such a hard stance against a player they actually hope and want them to underperform just so their point would be proven. Some prefer this rather than the greater improvement of the team. No one has addressed those plays of Monroe getting handled that were posted in this thread but that's the guy everyone wants back lol.


I'm not saying Luke is dominating but not many third year players are. He is better than last year though and I can see that. We were upset he gave up a few hurries. Really?!? I'll take the no sacks lol
