Some things don't add up with how this was rolled out in episode 1, but we'll see where it goes.


1. Tobias brings a knife to school because he has seen enough online to scare himself poopless. In this day and age, that would be viral and everyone would be freaking out like him.


2. 5 kids show up on the school bus which is normally full. If there was something spreading that quickly, news and the CDC would be all over it. Remember when 5 people got ebola? Or when a bunch of kids got encephalitis from mosquitoes at night football games a decade ago? That would be the lead story. I cannot fully swallow the idea that this is a surprise to everyone in LA.


I'm willing to stretch my suspension of disbelief plenty, but I was hoping for some answers or clues as to what caused the zombie apocalypse. Instead we got character development which could have been sped up if people would simply communicate with each other.


That said, I am excited for the fall of society phase which has already begun.
