I'd rather not go after him. The guy gets a huge contract extension and wants another one a year later, thats the kind of player that can ruin a salary cap real quick and impact negotiations with other players as well.
The other thing is he has a history of injuries, not all have cost him games but he is always playing dinged up. That kind of thing you get away with less and less with age. I don't want to overpay for a guy who spends his time on his next team constantly hurt. Or for a guy who will willingly sit out an entire year because of money. Cyprien was a better Rookie than Kam. 2nd year Cyprien made more tackles than a second year Kam although less interceptions. I would rather see how Cyprien plays out his rookie contract. finally I like Dave Caldwell to have as many draft picks as possible.
