He's aware. He wrote an article about it 8 days ago. He clearly stated that the Jags "chose Myers over Scobee" in this article as well. 

 

I don't agree with everything he writes and his outlook on two or three players in this article is a bit too "rosy" IMO, but he definitely is aware of the roster and depth chart.
