You guys mention Jimmy Smith as a reason why Lee could turn the corner. That doesn't help us if he follows Smith's career. He'll turn in his best seasons on another team. Was the cowboys wrong to release Smith after so many seasons of injuries? Absolutely not. Smith turned it around but you simply cannot bet that will happen everytime. 

 

If Lee has a rough 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year regarding injuries, Hes out. Maybe he gets it together with another team or maybe he doesn't. 

 

As such, I really HOPE he isn't the next Jimmy Smith. Also, Caldwell didn't screw up the pick. He had a top 10 receiver available to him in the 2nd round. Id take that gamble any day of the week and even still would knowing the future up to this point. 

Can't wait to see whats next.
