The Vikings went 10-6 and were a wildcard team last season.    With a RB who had the 2nd highest single season rushing total in NFL history.   This is for the most part why the Vikings have two more prime time appearances this season than the Jaguars.

The Vikings also have one more national TV game in the regular season than the Lions, which currently have 4 more wins this season than the Vikings..  The prime time / national TV decisions for the most part are based on how the teams did the previous season.

If the Jaguars win 9 or more games in 2014,  expect them to be on national TV at least 3 times in 2015.
