Impressions From the Panthers Game

Yeah, today was a situation where I think it was actually worse than the stats make it look.
As you mentioned, the passing game was bad. Lots of off target throws, drops, and that caused us to return to our legendary "all plays with 5 yards of the los" game plan. The defense got almost no pressure, and could easily have given up twice as many points if the Panthers receivers could catch. There were a lot of open guys dropping passes. Meyers missing twice on his first outing. I really hope that's a fluke and not a sign of things to come. |
