Pros and Cons of firing Gus Bradley
|
No one on this message board "really" wants to see Gus get fired, because that would be the result of more losing and let's face it - we've had more than our fair share of that over the past several years.
However, unless this team turns it around puts in a respectable season, it may be time to move on. I'm not talking playoffs or even 8-8, I'm talking 6-10 - at least a semblance of improvement over last year. The coaching staff should be developing players and we're going on year 3 of the rebuild - there needs to be improvement/development of our core players. Again, they don't have to be all-pro, but improved and a team that can at least compete. If we finished 5-11 or worse - I think Shad will be looking to move in a different direction. You can't keep a HC around forever with a less than 25% winning percentage. |
