Quote:God. That was the coldest game in team history. I froze my butt off so Garrard could throw a pick at the end. Everyone wanted to kill him when he did that.

I was at that game too (coming in from New York for a yearly game at that point. So I was really upset about freezing my butt off for that garbage game.). Miserable game. As upset as I was about Garrard throwing that pick at the end, I was, and still am, more upset at Rashad Jennings taking his opportunity to play with MJD injured against a Redskins D-Line that I remember was missing basically everyone, apparently, and putting up 32 yards on 15 attempts. The fact that the defense allowed an offense manned by Rex Grossman at QB and Ryan Torrain at HB to put up 20 points was fairly frustrating to.

That was a miserable game all around and the game where I really began worrying about the team Gene had been putting together; that was such a much win game and the whole team collapsed under the pressure against an opponent that was doubling as an infirmary. Garrard's OT interception was just the icing on the cake.

Anyway, that aside, I'd still take Hurns and ARob over Jones and Williams, and it's not even close for me. Jones had one good year where he showed he could be a possession receiver and Reggie had one good year where he showed he could be a red zone target. Neither had any real big play ability, and they both struggled with drops (and Jones with drugs + suspensions). Hurns, while struggling with drops and fumbles, at least has that big play ability. For that simple reason, I'd take Hurns (and by default ARob, who I still have hope for. But at this point, it is tough to argue him over 2008, and what could have been had coke not gotten involved, Matt Jones).
