If a coach did that to my kid I would handle it the exact same way Fred Taylor did. I would say it might have been a tad over the top, but his son deserved to be yelled at.  He did the stupidest thing he could have done at that moment.  A team captain just got a celebration penalty shortly after coaches told the whole team not to do anything. 

 

I bet he doesn't do it again.
