Not really an indictment of college hoops, I guess just more of a change in direction of my viewing habits. But I just don't watch college ball anymore. Really, I'm just not into much sports-wise other than college and NFL football.


Back when I was living in the Philly burbs, which was almost 23 years ago now (damn time flies), I was glued to the couch year round watching sports. NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL and college hoops.


Philadelphia had an unofficial 'league' they called The Big Five. I guess it still exists. It was the five major universities around Philly...Temple, Penn, Saint Joes, Villanova and LaSalle. Back then they were all relevant and at least 2 or 3 were always in the top 20. Man I couldn't get enough college hoops.


Now my interest as just waned. I start watching again around March, for obvious reasons.


What does all this mean? Hell, I don't know.
