If you're sold on the potential of any of the rookie QBs as franchise guys, you take them in a heartbeat. Easily. I don't see how there is any hesitation. Eli and Big Ben are or are going to be on the downhill side of their careers and Big Ben may be closer than you think. That guy has taken a beating in his career.


You pick your QB if you feel he's the guy and start drafting pieces around him asap supplementing that with pieces in free agency. It's about a lot more than getting the QB. This team will need to add a lot of help along with the QB in order for him to survive and be successful.


If you don't think any of the rookie QB options are the guy I'm OK with a veteran signing for the year. Then you still begin adding pieces on offense asap. That has to happen regardless.
