Like I've already stated several times pretty clearly - I am not advocating in any way, shape, or form for Robinson to be covering Gronk. There is zero reason for Arob to cover him on any routes to the middle of the field. To be very clear, Robinson only comes in the game in jump ball scenarios and plays a zone on Gronk's sideline. That is not crazy talk. It's not some rare albino tiger occurrence. It happens in football.

How is shutting down Gronk relevant? Because he has gone against the best defenders in the league without a hiccup, what do you think he'll be able to do to Allen Robinson?


That's just my point, if you put a WR on Gronk, that jump ball just got audibled to a slant.


This isn't sending your WR deep to guard against a Hail Mary, this is a WR going against the best TE in the league in the redzone.


Regardless if Robinson COULD win a jump ball, it would be a blood bath.
