Second Half Issues

I'm one of the posters that have spoken out rather loudly regarding our second half slumps.
I can't honestly say the offense slumped yesterday due to play calling. I could be wrong, but I thought the plays in the 2nd half were rather dynamic for the most part. A couple unlucky drops and lack of execution stalled our drives. But at the end, we drove the ball when it mattered. We won the game in the second half, it's really hard to be critical after a win. I can't do it. You gotta give the coaches and the players high praise for gutting out a victory against a team that has been hailed as an up and comer by many "experts" at the start of the season. On top of that, this was the team that dismantled us last year in the second half. These are all positives that you have to give the coaches and players on offense major credit for. |
