Agreed not really interested in him, but I do think a few Free Agents that would be good for only this season (1 year signing) that GM Dave Caldwell might want to consider is
Santana Moss (Redskins former Jets player) - small guy has a knack of getting open due to route running, decent hands, lost some speed as an aging veteran. Wes Welker (Patriots and then Denver WR)- (if Walters is cut or Greene to PS,) another 1 year contract risk good for short yardage, trusty hands in traffic. What about Reggie Wayne (Former Colt) - he said playing in NE was too tough, but he should have it easy in Jax. |
