Couple of us have been saying from the beginning that Luck is wildly overrated and it seems the Rank and File is coming around. As extreme as the hype is and how intense it is, he couldn't help but be overrated. I still have knucklehead Colts friends who swear with a straight face that he's the best QB in the league right now. It's like arguing with Fundamentalists with glazed eyes and itchy fingers on their machetes about doctrine and I blame that on the never-ending hype. Inaccurate and gets the yips in big games and didn't have a single above average performance against an above average team last year not named the Bengals.

 

I think the good news for us Jaguars fans is that this hype and dogma will work in our favor as nobody will survive long coaching in this mess here in Indy. Nobody will want to blame The Golden Boy for his mediocre play, especially since he's (legitimately) the most humbly understated and nicest guy in the world, and will always blame the coach for any of his failings. Combine that fact with an idiot GM in Ryan Grigson who makes Gene Smith look like a pool hustler and I'm seeing a much brighter future for us in Jax over the next ten years than what we previously thought. Grigson alone is a franchise killer.
