I was pointing out that I do not believe that the League has to act like a morality police; they are simply an employer. This is not a recreational sport that these men play, it's how they make their living. My job would not punish me for having a run-in with the law, at least not before a trial was held, so why should any other employer?

Which I can only assume meant that since you have served in the armed forces -- pretty sure this is it due to your screen name and all -- that you would not allow Bowe to play and that this restriction of his income is done in light of "holding people accountable."

 

It was pointed out later that he will in fact be held accountable since he has a court date as prescribed by law. So when I wrote:

I was asking the question which used my earlier statement as a groundwork that the only people that need to pass judgement on Dwayne Bowe are those people who are in a position to do so, the actual authorities, not his employer.
