How Important Is A Top Draft Pick?
|
Quote:So all we need is a DE that can hold offenses to 10 points every game so our second round SCRUB QB can get scobee in fg range at least 4 times to win... I would agree with you if one of the quarterbacks had separated himself from others in the draft. There are many coming with supposedly high talent. I can't predict the SCRUBS and neither can you. However, Caldwell had one of the best drafting records in the NFL as Director of College scouting. HIM I TRUST. If he drafts a quarterback first.....I'm fine with that. If he drafts Clowney or maybe even Barr and trades up out of the 2nd round to grab a QB who he covets that is falling.....I'm fine with that. QBs fall all the time. I don't see any teams in the bottom half of the upcoming draft that is likely to draft one. So once a Manziel or Mariota start falling.....they fall to us....or we trade up a little to keep someone else from trading ahead of us to steal our pick. Savvy? |
