Right, but others are saying that the Pac 12 > the Big Ten because the Big Ten is just OSU and MSU. If people think that Northwestern and Michigan suck, then that makes Utah, UCLA, and Stanford look worse too.

 

Bottom line is I would take the Big Ten's top 6 over the Pac 12's.
Teams can lose a certain game and still not come out looking worse once the season is said and done. Ohio State's team last year is a perfect example of that. Just like in fighting, styles make fights. You will have teams who don't match up as well with others. Pointing to scores alone is a terrible way to solve this.
