NFL wants to play games in Mexico & Germany now

Quote:Not remotely a stretch. The government and extremely wealthy know things well In advance of the public and use it/test it/distribute it as they see fit. I'm sure you've compiled mounds of "evidence" for how we couldn't possibly have gone to the moon as well, but in this instance it's about the money. Always has been, always will be. There's more room for growth of the game internationally than there is at home. It's that simple. I'm sure methods and speed of travel will develop over time, but to insinuate that some new, about to be released technology that is being hidden from the public and is capable of transporting approximately 50 players plus coaches and support personnel faster than a traditional airline and, on top of that, that this is what's driving NFL international expansion is laughable. Actually this technology already exists but disappeared because it isn't economically viable. It was called the Concorde. If it was coming back, we'd hear about it. No need for a conspiracy theory. Honestly guy... which is more likely? a)The NFL sees virtually untapped markets it wants to exploit and can already do so with present air travel technology or b)super secret, classified and redacted, Area 51 tech is about to drop on us that will revolutionize travel and the NFL owners already know about it. One of the above is observed in business all the time, the other requires "stretching" the imagination. |
