The offense is clearly moving the ball better this year, they just can't put up 6 consistently enough, which is par for the course for a young offense. If we could produce more in the running game that would help.
IMO, the larger issue on offense is the repeated self inflicted drive killing mistakes, and that it looks like the whole offense gets tight after half time. There is no excuse for the drops and stupid illegal formation type penalties, as well as going in the tank after halftime in every game. |
