How about not being able to compile a decent secondary, even though we've drafted what 6 different defensive backs and spent money on 3 different veterans? That's on Caldwell

This team is so average to below average across the board you could pick any head coach an we're likely to get out played any given Sunday. There is no one unit above average on this team, I can't even name a position we could argue is above average on the team. That's all on Caldwell.

I know you're not intentionally defending Gus, but by deflecting blame that's exactly what you're doing. I'll address each of your poorly thought out arguments with numbers.

 

1) The draft that brought us Joekel was horrible. Sam Young plays as good as Joekel (if not better) so why doesn't Gus play him?- Gus is not blameless.

 

2) Gus chose Myers over Scobee- not just Caldwell. If you don't think so then you are naive. You think Caldwll trades people without input from the coaches?

 

3) Our best WR is not an UDFA but yes that is on Caldwell because he brought that UDFA in- That is a positive and a good find. Caldwell is not blameless, you are correct, but with hiim you can see his potential as well as his improvement-- just like you can with Blake.

 

I see ZERO improvement with Gus. It's PAST time for him to go.. I will not cry if Caldwell is gone, but please don't deflect Gus's poor performance off onto him. Gus gets and deserves most of the blame for this team.
