When people defend this team why do they always start with we were X or Y away from winning? Aren't most losing NFL teams X or Y away from winning? If your team is so close but continuously fails to close the deal then either they didn't deserve to win or they simply aren't good enough. We need to stop making excuses for this team and demand a better product.
