Well, JDRs best season record-wise was 12-4. (and he had a prime Peyton Manning to contend with so that record did NOT win the AFCS)

 

Gus' best season record-wise was 4-12 (Wasn't JDR's worst record 5-11, and that got him fired)

 

See the difference.

 

Now that 12-4 record might have been JDR's 3rd season, so to be fair, this is Gus' 3rd season, so technically there is still a chance that he could have a breakout coaching season here in yr 3, but let's just say he's not off to a very good start, especially after Sunday's loss to Grampa Hasslebeck.
