1) They're completely a run stopping defense as well, they just don't have the same play makers in the box like VH3 and Jalen Tabor on the outside. They're 24th in the nation with a 2.9 YPA run stuffing defense. 

 

2) Playing LSU while knowing they have to stop the run is even more better than usual. NORMALLY, LSU has a decent all around game. This year, they are completely one sided in Fournette, why in the sam hell do you think they've looked less than stellar the past couple weeks (Eastern Michigan is... well... Eastern Michigan) including being near equal going into the half against Eastern Michigan. The major difference is they have absolutely NO QB / WR game whatsoever. UF could leave Tabor and VH3 out deep and put 9 in the box LOL 

 

Edit: IF Gators had played LSU in the first week or two this year, I think it would have been a complete stomp. Right now, Gators are surging and LSU is losing steam because of how one sided they are (so what if nobody has beat them, u can bet the teams coming up are game planning for them like crazy) so yeah it's definitely more even now. I thought LSU would just destroy everyone in their path, but not anymore. They're beatable.
