Why would he even mention something like this? He knows the NFL, ESPN, and all the other media would LOVE to talk about the Jags moving. 

 

I know this seems wrong at the moment, but this guy has the money to do whatever he wants with this team. He started a complete re-build in hopes of turning this team around, but if it continues down this path - what's the reason for staying in Jax? The city is nothing like LA and the revenue he'd get would be way more than Jacksonville could ever hope to bring in. Having a team in LA and playing in London just screams " Super popular, big market team that plays internationally. "

 

The money he has spent on Jax and the plans he has aren't even final yet. Sure, he's building an indoor facility/arena, but how does that keep the Jags here if everything goes downhill? That's literally a penny he lost, and he wouldn't mind making that back in a new city. This league and the owners just care about the money and Jax is not a place to make that. I wouldn't be surprised if he does have plans to move the team if things don't change. There's no reason to keep the team and restart AGAIN - three years later. Why not make it a complete restart and move on top of it? There's just a negative aura around this team, and the only way to get rid of that is winning. If you can't win (which we can't), the next option would be to move and start fresh.
