Watching the Cardinals/Jaguars game Sunday, I kept thinking, "Does Ronde Barber know how to use a telestrater?" For a while I wondered if he even had one. Also, one time he used it to draw two parallel lines instead of the route that a player ran. I have seen other rookies doing his job and they use telestraters all the time, not sparingly like Barber did.
Another problem was hearing Barber talk - he is the softest analyst I ever heard. Because Dick Stockton and Jeff Triplette talk loud enough, turning up the volume wasn't an option. He better never work at another Jaguars game I don't have a ticket for. |
