I want Gus fired as much as the next guy now (he seems like a good guy but this isn't working and we need a coach that can make guys win). So let's keep any talk of Gus and firing out of this thread. I want to look at some players we have that will hopefully with the right coaches be the guys that lead us to those wins.
Bortles is playing well this year, he's proving to be learning from his mistakes and getting better. He's 10/4 it TD/INT compared to 11/17 last year, that's a huge improvement. He's on pace for 32/9 INT/TD with 4160 yards passing. Allen Hurns is on fire this year, 430 yards from 5 games. He's on pace for 1376 yards. That's huge for any WR. Allen Robinson likewise, he was 402 yards from 5 games, he's on pace for breaking the 1k mark too with 1280 yards . Thomas looks like he'll create mismatches for the other WRs and has great hands, the quicker we get Lewis from running routes the better. |
