I'm not swayed by that argument. Bortles' job is to find the open man and deliver the ball. He missed a guy who was wide open the moment he finished his drop back The ball should have been out THEN, when he had a pretty clean pocket. Not half a second later when a defender is in his face. I won't derail this thread into a debate over a single play when I'm happy with how he played, but I can't just fall silent after that response.
