I'm sure it's great for fans to hear this (they've been complaining about it for a long time), but unless it gets results (and I don't think it will) it doesn't really do much other than satisfy the fanbase.
Babich was not a good choice for D-coordinator, but shouldn't Gus mostly be in charge of the Defense? Then again, I don't think Olson was a good choice for O-Coordinator either. Or Fisch. Maybe Gus will push the team to work harder. But then you'd have to ask "Why not sooner?" Why wait until a loss to a bottom feeder team, and not before?
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
