 I agree 10000% that the NFL needs to seriously consider Full-Time Officials.    The players and coaches prepare all week for a game.   How can an official do the same when that person has another job???

 

 The officiating in the Lions-Steelers game yesterday was horrible.    The Lions deserved to lose the game.   However,   the officials missed multiple overt calls for both teams.   This is far too often the norm in NFL games.   A week before,  I was actually praising Bill Leavy and his crew for their performance in the Lions-Bears game.    That was much more of the exception than the norm.
