The current roster is not built to efficiently stop the run, and is equally vulnerable to the pass.  We do not have the consistent ability to end drives. Our goal on defense was to be an attacking Cover-3 defense. We don't have a true LEO and the one we believe could be one hasn't played a down in the NFL, we have not identified an OTTO, and we have issues all over the place in the secondary aka the LEGION of GLOOM. On offense we cannot run the ball effectively. Fortunately though, the passing game seems to be picking up fairly quickly.

 

Maybe the build is too rigid in trying to emulate Seattle (who interestingly seems to have been figured out).
