It annoys me the national media portrays us this way.  A friend posted a picture of the Miami stadium, terrible.  The Bucs stadium, terrible.  Oakland, San Diego, and other teams in the NFL have similar issues, if not worse in most cases and yet we are the punching bag.  The national media is terrible.

 

The bias of most of the national media is sickening,   both with sports and non sports.    Your absolutely correct that singling out Jacksonville for lack of attendance and fan support is inaccurate for what's really going on.    The reality of the situation is selling tickets are a problem with many franchises in the NFL because of the economy and the attraction of large TV screen HDTV and other hi-tech ways of watching NFL games.

 

 For those who don't like Terry Bradshaw as a broadcaster for whatever reason ( s ),   that's fine.    Yet,  I think there should be a huge separation when describing Terry Bradshaw and describing Jimmy Johnson.   To the best of my knowledge,   Terry Bradshaw never suggested on national TV or on any media outlet that a team should move.    Jimmy Johnson did.    Johnson crossed the line.   It's one thing to be critical of owners,  coaches,  and players.   It's another to attack a fan base without justification.    In essence,  Johnson made Jacksonville a punch line in his commentary instead of spending time and effort to understand the overall NFL dynamics of selling tickets and luxury boxes in this day and age.    For me,  remembering from a distance how much effort the city of Jacksonville put in to secure an NFL franchise,   for someone like Johnson to make a case that the franchise should be taken away,   he should be ripped to pieces.
