The only way to actually get money out of the ultra-wealthy class is to bring their corporations away from the Bahamas and back into the American taxation system through lower corporate taxes and more incentives (or move to a consumption-based taxation system with no corporate taxes). Unfortunately most Democrats aren't very studious when it comes to economics, so rather than actually getting the "fair share" from the top 1% they will overtax the existing corporations in America who can't afford to move overseas (ie small-to-medium size business) and raise taxes on the middle-to-upper-middle class. |
